book series design

During my stint at Penguin Random House India, a crucial part of book design was maintaining visual consistency and designing systems as book series; either as a means to visually brand an author's work or to perhaps categorise authors under a subgenre. Here is a curation of some such series, where I've tried keeping the idea of a 'template' rather oblique.
