no!

'No!' is a witty, experimental, accordion-fold book I had created during my BA in New Delhi. I researched, wrote, edited and illustrated the content for the book; and explored two iterations for the document’s layouts to execute the final product. 'No!' stemmed from a sub-concept of taboo; the way people/ ideas that are taboo are shunned from society, or how they are said "no" to; denying their right to live a normal, or conventional life. This got me to negation, and how the idea and the repercussions caused by it were observationworthy. With different concepts explored in almost every spread, my monologous rant about the word touched bases with the concepts of indifference, absence, rebellion and belief in the context of the Indian society.
